The 2023 Octane OC High Tech Awards Recap
The 2023 Octane OC High Tech Awards took place on Thursday, September 21st. Octane, a highly renowned non-profit organization serving Southern California, hosts this annual event to honor top innovators, entrepreneurs, and technology leaders in Orange County. The 2023 awards ceremony took place at the AV Irvine, in California, complete with a lavish welcome reception, seated dinner, entertainment, and the presentation of awards across numerous categories. Revolv3 was chosen as a finalist for the “Best Enterprise or B2B Technology Innovation” category. Revolv3’s CEO and Founder Frank Arellano shared a snippet of what Revolv3 is about on the big screen at the event, stating “Revolv3 is a full-stack payment billing engine equipped with adaptive payment approval technology. Most merchants have the choice of either building their own payment technology or using a one-size-fits-all. We do it differently, creating the highest first-pass approvals at a lower cost than anything else in the market.”
Arellano started Revolv3 at the realization that there’s a market gap for payment optimization and orchestration tools that truly mitigate false declines and improve approval rates. He brought in Robert Podlesni as the CPO for his 15+ years of experience improving credit card payment processing for startups and large-scale companies and his most recent work implementing a full-stack bespoke billing engine for Experian. Both Arellano and Podlesni were present at the event, on behalf of Revolv3.
Enevate Corporation, a battery technology company for electric vehicles, emerged victorious, winning the award for “Best Enterprise or B2B Technology Innovation”. The full list of the winners can be found here.
